1028. Update: Mum's ferocious old cat has runny nose and stops eating

"Just give an injection," the dutiful daughter working in the Singapore Turf Club phoned me. The 15-year-old cat had yellow runny nose and was dehydrated. His left ear was bleeding with scratch wounds. I had to sedate him to clean up his left ear and gave the SC drip and antibiotics as he was most ferocious in the previous runny nose treatment one month ago. Not just an antibiotic injection. Cat went home with medication.

As for the recurring nasal discharge, there could be an infection deep inside the nostrils. Being 15 years old, he was still mum's pet and the adult daughter and friends sent him down for treatment.
